Dr. Waza and the Temple of Boom
Dr. Waza and the Temple of Boom
In the world of long distances, one name stands out-Waza. Where many scientific geniuses are recognized posthumously, Dr. Waza's work in the area of Tobu has had an impact without him having to die. His obsession with the physics, chemistry, archeology and history of Tobu has started an intellectual revolution culminating in the invention of the e5 and e6.

Unfortunately, outside of the "distance community," Dr. Waza's contributions to the study of Tobu have been disregarded like a dorky grade-schooler at a middle school dance. It is hoped that through this site and the work of the Society, Tobu can gain the recognition it sorely deserves.

Staff of Wa
Staff of Wa
As with the art of sword making, the Tobuists worked for years to craft the equipment with which they practiced Tobu. Their craftsmanship evolved from using animal bone, to wood, to different metals. One folk tale refers to the use of a rubber chicken, but most historians disregard this as a cheap gag. The Staff of Wa is believed to be from the Early Tobu period and so rare you can't even get one online.
